Our Story

For more than a decade, Beer Fest has brought the best craft breweries from across the Carolinas to the small town of Tryon. Founded by a dedicated group of beer-loving community members, Beer Fest is still put on by a team of volunteers and supported by the nonprofit Tryon Downtown Development Association. All proceeds from the festival go towards efforts to beautify downtown Tryon and support our independently owned businesses. This year a portion of our proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Craft Brewers Guild to support the recovery efforts of some of our favorite breweries.
